Delma Kinnison, 91, of Greeley, formerly of Ovid, died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at Hospice in North Colorado Medical Center.
She was born August 22, 1913 in a sod house between Peetz and Sedgwick, to Ned & Anna Belle (Curtis) Lockwood. She attended school in Sedgwick. She was an excellent cook, baker and a caring Mother and Grandmother.
On July 12, 1929, she married Francis Kinnison. They farmed South of Ovid all their married life. Francis died February 6, 1990. Delma moved to Greeley August 4, 2001 to be close to family and resided at Bonell Good Samaitan Senior Housing.
She was a life member of the Ovid Methodist Church. A charter member of the Friendship Club, a member of the UMW, Ovid Women's Club, The Birthday Club and worked at Great Western Sugar Co. weighing beets for many years.
Survivors are Don (MaryAnn) Kinnison of Crosby, N.D., Robert (Agnes) Kinnison of Littleton and Bonnie (Jack) Liddle of Loveland. One brother Ercle (Marge) Lockwood of Calimesa, Calif. and one sister, Ethel Enwall of Denver. Five Grand Children, 12 Great Grandchildren, and four Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis, her parents Ned & Anna Lockwood two brothers, Wilbur and Lloyd, two sisters, Mildred Connerly and Verma Zummach and one Grandson, Steven Kinnison.
Services will be at the Ovid Methodist Church Friday, January 28, at 11 a.m.

Mr. Walter F. Taylor, husband of Delma and Francis' daughter, passed away 03 Feb, 2011, Wheat Ridge, Denver County, CO. He was born 15 Feb, 1941, Middletown, Montgomery County, MO. Burial unknown at this time.
