Robert Roy Duley, 73, 3800 Indiana, Joplin, MO, died July 7, 1999, at Freeman West Hospital following a long illness.
Mr. Duley was born December 23, 1925 in Picher, OK.
He was a lifetime area resident of Joplin.
Mr. Duley worked at Missouri Steel Casting in Joplin for 43 years.
He married Dorothy Powell December 15, 1951 in Bentonville, AR. She survives.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Marsha Comer, Joplin; two sons, Gary Duley, Quapaw, OK, and Robert Duley, Galena, KS; one step-son, Carl Powell, Quapaw, OK; one step-daughter, Carlene Halcomb, Tulsa, OK; twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Duley, and one step-son, David Powell.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Rev. Steve Grace will officiate.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Jason Duley, Matt Duley, Darin Comer, Darryl Comer, Robert Duley, Jr., and Richard Duley.
Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
