Albert G. Kiesler, a career Navy man who retired 14 years ago, died at Lady of the Woods Nursing Home, 1023 Cherokee Road, at 7:45 p.m. Thursday [June 9, 1960]. He was 72, and a native of Kansas. He served 24 years in the Navy, including service in World Wars I and II. He made his home here at 642 Maylawn. Survivors include three brothers, Frank J., Sylvester W. & James A. Kiesler; a sister, Mrs. Theresa M. Knabel, and 31 nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison, and at 9 a.m. at St. Brigid Church, with burial in St. Louis Cemetery.
