STURGIS - Michael L. Mowry, 61, a loving and gentle man his entire life, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 5, 2009 at Sturgis Hospital. Mike was a lifelong resident of Sturgis.
He is survived by one brother, Dr. Robert (Betsy) Mowry of Sturgis; a sister, Lora Mowry (Bill) Holtz of Minong, WI and several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Thomas, Douglas and William Mowry.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled. Private burial of the ashes will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis. The Hackman Family Funeral Homes is entrusted with the arrangements.
