On Sunday morning at the break of dawn, the death angle entered the home of Mr. Lee Fain and plucked from their midst, George, their little 27-months-old son. Little George had been sick for several days, but was reported better Tuesday. Wednesday morning he became seriously ill. Everything that the hands of loving friends, also Dr. Thompson, could do to save the life of this precious little one was done, but all to no goo, as the Heavenly Father had sent the death angle to bring this flower of His home to Him. Little George's mother had had just been dead three months and eleven days when he died. The burial services were held at Motlow Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. T. W. Smith, after which the little body was laid to rest in the cemetery. A host of sorrowing friends and relatives attended the funeral services. Many and beautiful were the floral tributes. Our people can certainly be praised for to the sick, for everyone was just as kind to Mr. Fain and children as could be, and they express their heartfelt thanks to their friends for their kindness shown them in this great bereavement.
