Leon Howard Priddy, 89, formerly of Louisville, died Sunday at his home in Sonora. He was a native of Hart County; a retired employee of the old L&N Railroad Co., where he worked 15 years; a retired farmer; a former checker champion; and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Hart County. Survivors: a son, Dan L. Priddy; a daughter, Gloria Lee; a sister, Pauline Terry; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, his church. Burial: church cemetery. Visitation: Brown Funeral Home, Elizabethtown, after 2 p.m. Monday.
