Robert Leonard Hatcher, 85, Fayetteville, died Friday night in the Christian Nursing Home at Fayetteville after a short illness.
Hatcher was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Born Jan. 2, 1871, in Franklin County, Va., he was a son of the late Thomas and Betty Turner Hatcher.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rowena Rader Hatcher, four sons, (Daniel)D. G., Fayetteville; (Judson)J. N. and (Burg)B. B., both of Charleston; and (Garland)T. G., Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs.(Estelle) William T. Nelson, Pittsburgh, Calif., and Mrs. (Alice)F. L. Davies, Evanston, Ill.; one brother, (John Henry)J. H., Edmond; and one sister, Mrs. Callie Angle, Martinsville, Va., 11 grand children and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Fayetteville Presbyterian Church by the Rev. B. B. Breitenhirt. Burial will be made in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
The body is at the Dodd-Payne Mortuary and will be taken to the church one hour before the services
