Daniel Henderson Bethany was born in Texas CO., Missouri, city of Springfield around 1872. He migrated to Arkansas with his family near the turn of the century, and married Sarah Ann Darter of Pope County Arkansas. Dan had three children William Henry Bethany (died 1917), Lessie Mae Bethany Wisdom (died 1994), and Clarence Gene Bethany (died 1957). Dan was primarily a grape farmer, and passed in 1941 of Cancer of the bladder. He was proceeded in death by his wife Sarah Ann Bethany in 1946. Son of Pink Bethany and Sarah Horton Bethany.
