SPRINGFIELD - Larry Joe Robinson Sr., 48, of Springfield was called home on Friday, July 17, 2009, at St. John's Hospital.
He was born June 10, 1961, in Caruthersville, Mo., to Isaac and Hallie Robinson Sr. He was the sixth of 13 siblings. He married Kim Clark on Aug. 22, 2005. He was employed at Red Lobster.
He Was Preceded in Death by his Mother, Hallie Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly. He will be loved and missed by his two daughters, Shelina (Martel) Beard and Larressa Robinson, both of Springfield; two sons, Stephon Coleman and Larry Robinson Jr., both of Springfield; two grandchildren; five sisters, Gloria (Larry) Alexander, Doris (Darrell) Davis, both of Minnesota, Kay Wilson (companion, Clifford Jones), Ella (James Sr.) Rucker and Diane (Michael Sr.) McCreary, all of Springfield; seven brothers, Jerry (Diana), Isaac Jr., Curtis, Gary (Audrey), William and Alvin (Katrina), all of Springfield, and Calvin of Minnesota; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; sisters-in-law, Vanessa (Joel) Norwood, LaKeenya (Tyrone) Lacy, Tanosha Clark and Tamela (Ellis) Cole.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lakeside Church of Christ, with Brother Howard Anderson officiating. Walker Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
