Gary was born April 2, 1956, in Dallas to Kenneth and Monisa Caldwell. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a member of First Baptist Church in Slidell.
Survivors: Parents, Kenneth and Monisa Caldwell of Decatur; sister, Sherri Caldwell of Gainesville; brothers, Curtis Caldwell and wife, Brenda, of Hickory, Casey Caldwell and wife, Marva, of Haskell; and four nephews.
