Orrin P. Howe, 85 of Streator died Monday July 19, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Streator.
Funeral Services will be at 11a.m. Friday at Solan, Baker & Telford Funeral Home in Streator with the Rev. Gordon Carls officiating. Bural will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Streator. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M. Thursday.
Mr Howe was born Sept 10, 1918 in Sugar Grove, to Nillion and Annie (Mahle) Howe. He married Joyce Duffy on Sept 23, 1942, in Ottawa.
He farmed in Osage Townhip for 45 years and was a trustee for many years.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Carolyn (Darvin) Adridge of Wenona, Janice (Randy) Carlson of Streator, and Phyllis (Tim) O'Brien of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son David (Karen) of Warrenville, a sister,Lois (Win) Coffman of Plano; a brother Laverne "Bud" of Plano; five grandchildren, Ross Carlson, Shane O'brien, Kevin Adridge, Erin Bathke and Diane Burroughs and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Francis Fishburn, and Doris Piercy.
Pallbearers will be Ross Carlson, Shane O'Brien, Delbert Applebee, Bob Brennen Sr., Denny Connelll, and Donald Luckey.
