She was born in Gainesville, Florida, and lived in the Tri-Cities from 1945 to about 1976.
She was a meat cutter and a member of the Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Connell, at the home in Ione; three daughters, Naomi Stevens of Lubbock, Texas, Norma Foxx of Northbrook, Illinois, and Nina Renkenberger of Phoenix, Arizona; one son, John Connell Jr. of Phoenix; her mother, Naomi Sedgwick, of Seffner, Florida; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchilren.
Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Ione Southern Baptist Church. Burial will be the Metaline Cemetery. Sherman Funeral Home of Newport, Washington, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation in care of the Virginia Mason Clinic, Seattle.
