Bluffton, Ind - Jan 15 (Special)- Mrs. William H. Engle, 54, injured in an auto accident south of Bluffton Sunday, died at the Wells county hospital at 3:15 o'clock this afternoon. Surviving are the husband and four children, Mrs. Milton Swearingen, Decatur, Luvere, John and Ruth, all at home.

Bluffton, Ind - Jan 15 (Special) - Two persons were killed and six others injured, one perhaps fatally, in a collision of two automobiles at the junction of state roads 1 and 18 at Fiat, 13 miles south of Bluffton, shortly after noon Sunday.
Paul Seesenguth, 49, farmer, of French township, Adams County, residing five miles west and one mile south of Monroe, died at 8:30 o'clock Sunday evening in the Wells county hospital of injuries sustained in the accident. Mr. Seesenguth sustained a fractured skull, broken ribs and a punctured lung.
Thomas Kyle, 69, Mainisburg, Ohio, died shortly after he was brought to the hospital. He also suffered a fractured skull.
Mrs. William H. Engle, 54, is believed fatally injured. She suffered several fractured ribs and serious internal injuries. Mrs. Engle was given a blood transfusion Sunday night and the attending physician this afternoon held no hopes for her recovery.
Others hurt in the wreck and the extent of their injuries are:
William H. Engle, 54, head bruises and scratches.
Mrs. Paul Sessenguth, wife of the fatally injured man, fractured collarbone and head injuries.
Mrs. Dora Stogdill, 5?, Bluffton, broken and fractured right hip,fractured ribs, and severe bruises about the chest.
Mrs. Kyle wife of the man killed, unreadable.
Roy Hisey, the chauffeur for the Kyles, broken right arm and collarbone.

The Engles, Seesenguths, and Mrs. Stogdill were driving south toward Muncie on state road 1 and the Kyles and Hisey were headed east on state road 18.
The actual cause of the accident was undetermined today, as those in the crash were unable to tell exactly what happened.
The Engle car hit the Kyle auto in the side and then careened into a tree on the southeast corner of the juntion. State road 1 is a through highway at this junction.
Mrs. Engle, Mrs. Stogdill and Mrs. Seesenguth are sisters and had planned to spend the afternoon at the bedside of another sister, Mrs. Emma Huffman, of Hartford City, who is recovering from an operation performed in the Muncie hospital.

Funeral Services Will Be Held Thursday for Accident Victim

Funeral Services for Mrs. William Engle, 55, of Decatur, third victim of an automobile accident which took place shortly after noon on Sunday at Fiat, 13 miles south of Bluffton, who died at the Wells County Hospital Monday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock, will be Thursday. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Engle home, south of Decatur, and at 2 o'clock at First Christian Church, of which she was a member. Rev. J. Dawson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Decatur Cemetery.
Mary Elizabeth Engle was born in French Township, Adams county, Feb 12, 1878. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Albert (Augusta) Walter. She was united in marriage to William Engle on October 19, 1903 and four children were born to the union: Luvere, Ruth, John and Mrs. Lucile Swearingen, all of this city.
Surviving also are the sisters: Mrs. J.W. Bower, Fort Wayne; Mrs. Dora Stogdill, Bluffton; Mrs. Paul Seesenguth, Adams County; Mrs. Emma Hoffman, Hartford City; Mrs. C.J. Klopfenstein of Delta, Ohio; and Mrs. H.E. Haggerty of Ferndale, Michigan; and brother, C.W. Walter of Vera Cruz.
