Sterling Price Cunningham
Sterling Price Cunningham, son of Minor Vance and Hattie (Taylor) Cunningham, was born 06 Nov 1869 at Medley, WV. Departed 19 Dec 1957 at his home in Cleo Springs,
OK, at the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 13 days. At the age of 4 months he came with his parents to Mancefield, IL. At the age of 15 years he came to Walker, MO where he grew to manhood. At the age of 19 he became a member of the Southern Methodist Church at Walker, MO.
On September 27, 1892 he was united in marriage to Ida May Lefforge in Walker, MO where they made their home a few years, then moved to Pittsburg, KS, for five years, then to Sherman, OK, from there to Plattville, CO, then to Rawlins, WY, for a few years.
Came back to Sherman, OK in 1925, and moved to their present home at Cleo Springs in 1931.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Ida May of the home, Children: Kitty May Whitaker of Fairview, OK, Minor Vance Cunningham of Gardena, CA, Richard Price of Denver, CO and Lewis Paul of Fairview, OK. He was preceded in death by John Parsons Cunningham and Nellie Letitia Cunningham. He leaves one brother, David Parsons Cunningham of North Bend, WA, three sisters: Elizabeth Cunningham of Latour, MO, Kitty Slater of Albany, OR, and Nell Kiester of Nevada, MO, eight grand children, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
