Anna married Joseph William Bleichner, son of George W. Bleichner and Lena M.Garber, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pesotum, Illinois in a single ring ceremony by Father J.W.B. Prost, pastor. Witnesses were her sister, Mary Hausman, Charles Bleichner a nephew of the groom. They had a breakfast following the wedding ceremony, and later that evening had a dance in St. Joseph's Hall.
They went to live on the farm owned by Peter Wilhelm Jr. southeast of town.
They had four children, Donald, Mildred, Carol Ann and Norma. They made their home in Pesotum, Illinois.
In 1967, they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They live at 508 West White Street in Champaign, Illinois. They had nine grandchildren at this time. My mother called her "Rose".
She had 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren in 1993.
death: Anna died at Covenant Medical Center (formerly Mercy Hospital) in Urbana, Illinois. at 3:30 in the morning.
burial: Anna was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pesotum, Illinolis after a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mahomet, Illinois officiated by Father Lawrence P. Morrissey and Father George Wuellner.
