Alvie R.Adams,long time resident of Odessa passed from this life on Thursday,November 1,2007.He was born Sunday, November 11,1923 in Erath County,Texas to the late J.J.Adams and Sara Trumble Adams.

He married the love of his life,Reba Watson in 1942 in O'Donnell,Texas and went on to serve with the Army Air Corps during World War 11 where he was wounded .Later he returned and went to work in the oilfields where he retired.He was a member of the Eisenhower Church of Christ.

Alvie was preceded in death by one son-in-law:Mike and six brothers:Earl,Carl, Marvin, Frank,Egbert and Wade.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday,November 3,2007 at Western Roses
Memorial Park with Mr.Lon Howard officiating.Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons:Jay Howard,Tim Howard,Jason Nun-
ley, son-in-law ,Jimmy Nunley,and grandson-in-law,David James.

Memorials may be made to Odessa Christian School or Home Hospice.

Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
