Susie E. Forshee, 97, of Desloge, died May 3 at Farmingon Regional Medical Center. She was born Sep. 27, 1892, in Desloge to the late William and Mattie Wells Jarrells. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Forshee, two daughters, one son and one brother.
Mrs. Forshee was a member of the Cantwell Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Ronnie Forshee of Bonne Terre; four daughters: Bernice (Mrs. Lloyd) Halter of Bonne Terre, Ione (Mrs. James) Ragsdale of Farmington, Norma (Mrs. Charles) Christopher, and Jean (Mrs. James) Slinkard both of Desloge; three sister: Minnie (Mrs. Ben) Christopher of Desloge, Sally (Mrs. Elmer) Engleman, both of the State of Florida: 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at 2 p.m. in the Cantwell Baptist Church with the Rev. Pat Ozment officiating, assisted by Rev. Edwin Hunter. Burial was in the Herod cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Desloge.
