HUDSON - Barbara Ruth, 77 passed from this life Monday, August 10, 2009, in Oklahoma City. She was born March 28, 1932, in Iola, KS. Barbara was a longtime resident of Tulsa. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and had a great love for animals. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend and as a kind person. She is survived by her children: Vicki Hudson and Steve Hudson, both of Oklahoma City; grandchildren: Erin M. Hudson of Pittsburgh, PA and Sarah K. Hudson of Oklahoma City; as well as several cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed. Barbara was preceded in death by: her husband, Troy E. Hudson; and her parents, Clyde and Ruth Summers.
