Hazel Glendora "Glennie" Mooney, 71, of Mason City died Saturday, May 21, 1994, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, WA of complications from open heart surgery and kidney failure.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, NE, burial in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
Mrs. Mooney was born Arpil 29, 1923 at Broken Bow to Harvey John & Nellie Blanche (Simons) Whiteman. She attended elementary and high school in Broken Bow.
On November 24, 1938, she married Jed Henry Mooney at Seward. She lived and worked in the Mason City, and was employed by Beckton-Dickinson of Broken Bow until her retirement in 1985.
Survivors include her husband: five daughters, Celeste Holscher of Bertrand, NE, Connie & Eldon McCandless of Broken Bow, NE, Kathryn & Dale Haller of Merna, NE, Verdna "Mikki" Davis of Spokane WA, and Patricia & Ron Maier of Grand Island, NE: two sons, Jed "Butch" & Lynda Mooney of Spokane, WA, Mike & Kim Mooney of Broken Bow, NE. two sisters. Twila Will of Scofield, Wis., and Bonnie Doggett of Merna, NE one brother, Donnie Whiteman of Broken Bow, NE. 21 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters; Bernice Brong and Elsie Foley of Merna 2 Brothers Harold & Adam Whiteman, one grandson Joseph Daryle Zlomke.
