She graduated from Armona Elementary School and Hanford High School.
She married Calvin Dillon on July 8, 1944 at the age of 19. She was active with many clubs and worked for many years at the Armona Elementary School District. Nancy was an avid baker, she loved to read a good book and later spent her free time playing bingo.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her three sons, Alen and wife Young of Hanford, Alvin and wife Marvalee of Roswell, N. M., Lyn and wife Carol of Hanford, and Christie and husband Danny Silva of Libby, Mont.; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Calvin "Cab" Dillon, her parents, one sister, two brothers, one granddaughter, and one grandson.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 at Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Services Chapel in Hanford. A graveside ceremony will be at 10 .m., Friday, Aug. 14 at the Grangeville Cemetery in Armona. A gathering will be held at the Armona Methodist Church Social Hall following the service.
Remembrances may be sent to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The Cancer Research or The American Heart Association.
