In the Foote History and Genealogy book, Vol. I, he is #518, p. 154 (also known as "Nathaniel Foote of Wethersfield, Conn. and His Descendants", by Abram W. Foote).

On this 8th day of October 1832 personally appeared in open court before the Judges of the Court of Commonplace in and for the County of Wayne ----- now sitting Beeri Foot a resident of the town of Galen County of Wayne State of New York. -------- who being first duly sworn according to law doth on his oath make the following declaration in order to obtain benefit of the Act of Congress passed the 7th of June 1832.

That he entered the service of the United States under the following named officers and was as herein stated to be that in the last of July on the first of August 1779 he did enlist for seven months under the command of Captain Asahel Hodge Colonel Rufoll(?) Regiment called the 8th Conneticut Regiment Continental Establishment and that he enlisted at Litchfield Conneticut State ---------- ------------ Colonel Bilby marched to Danbury from thence to Robbinson's farms on the North River a little below West Point on the east side of the river from there marched to Peekskill from thence to Morris Town in the State of New Jersey and then built huts for winter quarters at Baskin Ridge and thence march from thence to Danbury Conneticut and there dicharged about the 20th of January 1780 and that he had a written discharge given to him by Captain Bill Camiotimiben(?) who signed the discharge, the discharge is lost and that in the year 1781 in the month of october he was drafted for a month under the command of Captain Gillet. Colonel Hill commanded the regiment to Hartford Conneticut State and there served out his term of one month and ------ home to Harwinton same state and he has no documentary evidence and knows of no person whose testimony he can procur that can testify to his service and that he was born in the town of Harwinton Richfield County State of Connecticut one thousand seven hundred and sixty two and has no record of his age and that he enlistedat the place and time above mentioned. He hereby relinquishes any claim whatever to a pension or annuityexcept the presentand declares that his name is not on the pension roll of any State.

We Lucas Hubbell a clergyman residing in the Town of Lyons and Calvin D. Palmeter residing in the Town of Lyons County of Wayne and State of New York hereby certify that we are well aquainted with Beeri Foot. Who has subscribed and sworn to the within declaration that we believe him to be 70 years of age that he is reputed and believed in the neighbourhood where he resides to have been a soldier of the Revolution and that we concur in that opinion.
