John Thomas Fryman, 73, died Wednesday Oct 13 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, after a short illness.
He was a retired farmer, a member and trustee of the Elmarch United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary E. Landrum, daughters Mrs. Dale (Jean) Criswell, Frankfort, Ky., and Mrs. Logan (Nancye) Louderback, Lexington, KY., and three grandchildren, Mr. Steven Criswell, Miss Sharon Criswell, and Mr. Doug Louderback.
Mr Fryman was preceded in death by his son Buddy Fryman and two grandchildren.
Mr. Fryman was the brother of Mr. William L. Fryman, Bourbon County, Mrs. Oma Mattox and Mrs. Fannie Clemons, both of Harrison County.
Funeral services were conducted 1 PM Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Drake Funeral Home by the Reverand Elwood Norton and the Rev. Will Clegg. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Honorary pallbeareers were Dr. Joe Nichols, Mr. Frank Kern, Mr. Harold Pettit, Mr. Howard Reffitt, Mr. Marvin Fryman, Mr. Raymond Dailey, Mr. Milton Criswell, Mr. Charles Franklin, and Mr. A.B. McKenney.
Pallbearers were Mr. James Reffett, Mr. Russell Fryman, Mr. Paul Fryman, Mr. Gene Dryden, Mr. Wess Yearsley, Mr. Jim Nichols, Mr. Kenneth Landrum, and Mr. John Garnett Franklin.
