Paul was born Sept. 25, 1919, to Kenneth and Elsie (Schunaker) Juvinall. He attended Danville grade schools and during the Depression was in a CC Camp where he helped to build bridges and state parks. He was a setup man machinist at Allith Prouty for many years and remained there during World War II to train the incoming women to run the machines to make parts for the war. He also drilled wells for some time. Paul was a member of First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed fishing trips to Kentucky and gardening.
Paul married Dorothy Knapp on April 7, 1941; she preceded him on Sept. 28, 1997. Surviving are four children, Richard (Carol) Juvinall Sr., Barbara (John) Russian, David Juvinall and Linda Forbis; a sister, Virginia Nungester; two sisters-in-law, Betty Kinney and Bonnie Knapp; and many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded by his parents; wife; a son, Dale Juvinall; a great-grandson, Jason Juvinall; a granddaughter, Ruth Ann; and three brothers, Fay, Floyd and Wilbur.
