He is survived by his wife, Pauline B. Armstrong of Jackson; two sons, Elmer N. Armstrong of Jackson and Jerry Armstrong of Florence; a brother Billy Armstrong of Pearl; three sisters, Katie Nations of Pearl, Mamie Lee Thurman of Florence and Moselle (Sic - Mozelle) Martin of Biloxi; and six grandchildren.
