Mrs. Barbara Jean Carson 73, Tullahoma passed Monday, August 10, 2009 at Life Care Center.

She was the daughter of the late John William and Delia Staples Estill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Carson Sr; daughter, Tasha Burnett; brothers, William "Buster" Keith and Virtie Estill.

She is survived by sons, James "Pete" (Regina) Carson of Hampton Virginia, Ricky (Melissa) Carson of Houston Texas.: John Carson Jr. of Murfreesboro, Tennessee: Daughter, Delia Juyon Pentecost of Tullahoma, Tennessee; Sisters- Gladys (Pastor Elvy) Davis of Tullahoma Tennessee; Sarah Estill of Nashville Tennessee. Brothers, Leonard. (Zeola) Estill Sr. of Shreveport, Louisiana; John William (Gertha) Estill, Jr. of West Monroe, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Barbara Estill of Tullahoma, TN ; 18 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren;.

Services at Shorter Chapel AME Church with Pastor Fred Blackwell officiating and Pastor Elvy Davis as Eulogist.

Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
