OBITUARY
Mrs. Alice Lewis, aged 81, of 8441 Patterson Ave passed away at her home Friday afternoon. Mrs. Lewis is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Issac (Bessie) Karsten of Grandville and Mrs. Charles (Helen) Kelly of Middleville; four sons, Floyd, Lloyd, and Glenn of Caledonia and Claude M. of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four brothers, George Apps of Reed City, Harley Apps of Merritt, Charles Apps of Houghton Lake and Nicholas Apps of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lewis reposes at the Cross Miller Funeral Home Caledonia, where friends may meet with the family Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. and where services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Ralph Tweedy officiating. Interment Lakeview Cemetery Caledonia.
