Frank Ordway and Miss Berdie McLain, two well-known young people of Davis City vicinity, were quietly married last Sunday at Davis City, the ceremony being performed by Rev. W. F. Burchett, Pastor of the Pentecostal Church at Davis City. The many friends of these estimable young people extend congratulations and best wishes for their happiness and prosperity.

Frank Thomas Ordway, 82, of Wichita, retired Boeing Military employee, died Tuesday, June 3, 1986. Frank was born in Davis City, Iowa to Hattie and Morton Ordway on December 4, 1903. He died in Iowa while visiting relatives. He married Berdie McLain on October 29, 1922 in Davis City. He farmed in that area until 1941 when he moved with his family to Wichita where he began his career at Boeing. He retired in 1962 after 21 years of service.
Preceding him in death were his parents; an infant brother and sister John and Leah; sister Opal Osborn; brother Roy Ordway and three grandchildren. He is survived by his widow, Berdie Ordway; four daughters Velva Deane Berryman, Federal Way, WA; Louise Greever, Augustus, KS; Frances Hatcher and Shirley McCully, Wichita, KS; brother Earold Ordway, Lamoni, IA; sister, Ruby Scott, Leon, IA; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
