Mrs. Edith Lorene Adams, 47, 811 O'Daniel, died Sunday after a lengthy illness. She was dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital about 6 p.m.

She had been a resident of Borger since 1946 and was a member of the Missionaray Baptist Church here.

Funeral services are pending with Ed Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest J. Adams of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Lois Overall of Borger; two brothers, Ruben W. Smith of Borger and Arvin U. Smith of Duncanville, Tex.; and one grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Lorene Adams, 47, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Borger Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Jones, pastor will officiate. Interment in Highland Park Cemetery will be directed by Ed Brown and Sons.

Mrs. Adams, who died at 6 p.m. Sunday, had been a resident of Borger since 1946 and was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church here.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest J. Adams of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Lois Overall of Borger; two brothers, Ruben W. Smith of Borger and Arvin U. Smith of Duncanville; her stepmother, Mrs. Pearl Smith of Illinois; three stepsisters, Mrs. Betty Jackson of Borger, Mrs. Faye Robinson of Carrollton, and Mrs. Minnie Phillips of Illinois; and one grandchild.
