William was the son of Robert Jefferson Parker and Adelia Dee Ellett. His first wife was Maggie Stevens and they had one son J. G. "Jiggs" Parker. Maggie died in 1921 and is buried in the Cotton Gin Cemetery in Freestone County. He is buried by his last wife May Morine.
