Funeral services for Dr. Cornelius Edward Reardon, who died suddenly Saturday morning, were held this morning at the home, 5 McKinstry Place, 9 o'clock and in St. Mary's Church at 9:30. Interment in the Cedar Park Cemetery.
Born February 4, 1899 in Glens Falls, Dr. Reardon was the son of Daniel J. Reardon and Julia Carey. He had been a resident of Hudson for 38 years and paracticed dental surgery over 40 years. He is survived by his wife Edith; a daughter Heather Gaile; and two sons, Neal E. Jr., and Sean D. Reardon; three sisters, Mrs. Harry J. Wallace of Glens Falls, Mrs. John Ahearn of Whitehall, and Mrs. Maxwell Reinech of Pleasantville; a brother, John of Glens Falls and two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Dr. Reardon was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy, Glens Falls, and the University of Buffalo Dental School.
A veteran of World War I, he seved with the United States Naval Reserve.
Dr. Reardon was a member of St. Mary's Church of Hudson; the Columbia Golf and Country Club; the Third District Dental Society; American Dental Society; Hudson Post 184, American Legion and past president of the Columbia County Dental Society.
