Herman Earl Marshall, Jr-age 44-a native and lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at a local hospital. He was a carpenter in commercial construction industry and a member of the Independent Church of God in Bayou La Batre. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman E. Marshall, Sr, his step father, William T. Qualls and two brothers, Ralph Bryan Marshall and Joey Qualls. He is survived by his children, Timothy Marshall of Mobile, Patrick Marshall of Bayou La Batre; his mother, Gerry Qualls of Bayou La Batre; granddaughter, Alaina Nicole Marshall; two nieces, Sarah and Kayla Marshall; one great niece and nephew, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 12Noon from Independent Church of God in Bayou La Batre. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 am until service time.
