Mrs. Retter Sue Price Bailey, age 60, of Blairsville, Georgia, died Saturday, December 20, 2008. She was born in Newton County to the late Hugh Price on October 1, 1948, she graduated from Newton County High School in 1966 and was Homecoming Queen in 1965. Mrs. Bailey attended Harmony Grove Baptist Church in Blairsville and was a longtime member of Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts and gardening, she loved making people laugh and was loved by everyone who knew her. Mrs. Bailey was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend. Mrs. Bailey is survived by her Husband, Keith Bailey, Blairsville, Son and Daughter-in-law Dr. Garrick and Vicki Bailey, Gainesville, Daughter and Son-in-law; Greta and Joel Miller, Blairsville, Mother and Step Father Juritta and Grady Price Allen, Covington, In-Laws Mr. and Mrs. Winford Bailey, Blairsville, Brothers and Sisters; Randy Price, Covington, Gary and Jenny Price, Blairsville, Gayle and Rick Walden, Covington, Timmy and Kandy Price, Covington, Tammy and Rob Stell, Madison, Grandchildren; Tyler and Ashley, Bradley, Bailey and Ryleigh Miller, Ashton and Alana Bailey and Great Grandchild Cayden Keith Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, and other close family members. Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey were held at 11:00AM Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church with Pastor John Ozley and Pastor Stacy Dyer officiating. Interment was held at 4:00PM Monday at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Blairsville, Mrs. Bailey's grandsons and brothers served as pallbearers.
