Marthalene H. Arnett, 89, St. Marys, widow of Gail Arnett, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at her residence.
Born on Oct. 3, 1924 in St. Marys, she was the daughter of the late William Reed and Winnie May Gregg Cox.
She was a member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church, which her father helped build. She was a member and former Chaplain of the Order of Eastern Star, and former member of Nine Mile Woman's Club.
She is survived by two children; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; husband; and two brothers, Reed and John Cox.
