John Wesley Harvey
July 03, 1962 - June 28, 2005

Our brother and loved one, John Wesley Harvey, 42, passed unexpectedly and swiftly on June 28, 2005.

John passed from this earth as he lived life, with grace and dignity. He was a loving man with a great sense of humor. He could make anyone laugh and feel better with his wonderful quick wit.

We will carry him in our hearts and will miss him greatly. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited with him. May God hold him in the palm of his hand and surround him with his love and grace.

John was born on July 3, 1962, to Virginia R. and James W. Harvey. He was raised in Indianapolis, and resided in Anderson for the last few years.

He graduated from Southport High School. John loved sports and his family. He especially loved his companion and love, Joyce Carpenter. Joyces grandson held a special place in Johns heart and he felt blessed to have him in his life.

John shared a special relationship with his brother, Jim, and considered him his best friend.

John spent his life doing what he loved most, working with heavy machinery and driving trucks. He worked for a time for Harvey Machinery Movers.

John is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, uncles, a brother-in-law, niece and cousins.

He is survived by his love, Joyce Carpenter; his brother and best friend, James W. Harvey Jr; sisters, Barbara E. Reardon, Deborah S. Moriarty and Carol A. Dommer; aunts and an uncle; two nieces, Jennifer A. Roundy and Melissa S. Andrade and his nephew, Michael Moriarty and all their respective families.

Cremation will take place.
