Christopher Lee Doty
Christopher Lee Doty, 38, of Caldwell, was murdered Monday, June 12, 2000. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm. Thursday, June 15 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Flahiff’s.

Chris was born October 12, 1961, at Portland, Oregon, a son of Lee and Charlotte Juenemann Doty. He moved to Caldwell with his family and has lived in Caldwell for 36 years.

Chris will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Chris had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping, but most of all he loved his daughter, Jessica, the “Husker,” playing and spending time with her. Chris worked 17 years at Yanke Machine Shop in Boise as a certified welder and crew chief.

Chris as taken from his loved ones, daughter, Jessica; mother, Charlotte Doty Trihey; father and step-mother, Lee and Jeanne Doty; sisters, Leann and Craig Tallman, Lisa and Brad Wutherich, Laura and Dirk Anderson, Loretta and Gilbert Tweedy and Lois and JJ Winegeart; brother Curt and Donya Doty; many nieces and nephews who loved their “elder punk” uncle, grandmother, Minnie Doty; aunts and uncles; and his faithful dog, Daisy, who he loved to spoil with Twinkies and cookies.

Chris we love you so much, our prayers and memories of you will always be with you. P.S. Give younger punk a little help with catching the big sturgeon; as you know, Curt has a handicap fishing, so he needs all the help he can get. Love you always, your family.

A special thanks to Chuck Bower for all the help he gave Chris and being so generous and kind. Many thanks to Darrell Heck for his help and friendship.
