Alvin L. Gueltzow, 71, Orness Plaza, died Wednesday morning at his home. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday from the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with the Rev. Ronald Bongard officiating. Burial is in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Visitation starts Friday noon at the Landkamer Funeral Home and at the church one hour before services. family prayer service is at 8:45 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Gueltzow was born in Alma, Wis., Oct. 31, 1902. He lived in Mankato most of his life. He worked for Mankato Plating Co. until his retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jean Kueker, Mankato, a grandson, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife and a sister.
