HOOPER - Erma Ada Bingham Jensen Fitzmorris, age 88, passed away Friday, April 5, 2002 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born November 23, 1913 in Logan the daughter of Lewis and Ada Koffer Bingham.

Erma married Leonard Thomas Jensen on October 5, 1933 in Logan. He passed away January 1, 1961. She married Robert Lee Fitzmorris Sr. on November 15, 1963 in Ogden. He passed away September 14, 1990.

Erma was a unit supervisor for 17 years with Sears. She also worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 17 years.

She was a member of the Hooper 3rd Ward at the time of her death. She taught Sunday School, Primary, served in the Presidency of Mutual, taught mutual, was a den mother for the cub scouts, relief society secretary, second counselor, visiting teacher and sang in the ward choir.

Erma was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers camp Diana Davis Fife. She served on the board, was captain and historian for many years, and was first attendant to Pioneer Day Queen on July 24, 1987.

She was a part of five generations three times during her life.

Surviving are one son, one daughter,; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and four sisters.

Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and one granddaughter, Robyn.
