Robert "Sprucy" Sandle Reed Jr., 44, of Bryan, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at his residence.
Services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday, August 20, at the Assemblage of Praise Church of God In Christ with Superintendent Kurt Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Robert "Sprucy" Reed Jr. was born on December 30, 1964 in Bryan to Robert Reed Sr. and Laura Mae Reed.
He was a graduate Bryan High School and was a Quality Control Technician at Sanderson Farms. He was a member and the Finance Officer of Assemblage of Praise Church of God In Christ.
He enjoyed shopping and traveling but his greatest joy was in spending time with his family.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Mae Reed.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Duffie Reed; his sons, Robert Damon Reed III, Keston Jacolby Harrison and DaChristopher Harrison; and his daughter, Sireesha Trena Harris; father and stepmother, Robert Reed Sr. and Clarice Reed; brothers, Michael Reed and wife, Janice, Christopher Reed and Elder Eric Reed; and his sister, Marilyn Brooks Lynch; and four grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends
