Beaulah J. Farnsworth, 82 years old of Monroeville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born on Thursday, January 6, 1927 in Allen County, Indiana the daughter of the late Joseph N. Brown and the late Orah B. (Plumley) Brown. She married William O. Farnsworth on May 12, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Beaulah was a member of East Liberty United Methodist Church where she was in the Ladies Society.

She retired in 1985 from International Harvester Company with thirty years of service. Following her retirement, she was a volunteer at the Village of Heritage Nursing Home in Monroeville for 10 years.

Surviving are her husband, William O. Farnsworth of Monroeville, daughter, Joy D. (Rev. Harold) Klinker of Decatur, son, Bradford D. (Ricki) Farnsworth of Monroeville, son, Douglas E. (Alison) Farnsworth of Phoenix, Arizona, daughter, Jeanne S. (J.W.) Ragland of Cottontown, Tennessee, brother, Roy D. Brown of Monroeville, sister, Hazel E. Little of Barryton, Michigan, sister, Mary Jane Kendall of Monroeville, sister, Eileen M. (Wilmer) Gerardot of Fort Wayne, sister, Bonnie D. (Grayston) Witmer of Fort Wayne, seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Preceding Beaulah in death were two brothers; Joe & Johnny Brown, two half-brothers; Ivan and Guy Brown, two sisters; Mabel Seitz & Dottie Brown & a half-sister, Ferrol DeFrain.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 in the East Liberty United Methodist Church with Rev. Barry McCune & Rev. Harold Klinker officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 21 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.

Preferred memorials are to East Liberty United Methodist Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
