EASTERDAY, PHYLLIS ELAINE — Of Jackson, MI, passed away July 8, 2006, at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Irene (Decke) Weber; her husband, Lowell W. Easterday in 1993; brother, Donald Weber; and an infant brother, Robert Weber. She is survived by three children, Cathy (David) Barczak of Jackson, David (partner, Thomas Block) Easterday of East Lansing, MI and Dennis (Suzanne) Easterday of Jackson; five grandchildren, Lori (Don) Murphy of Dearborn, MI, Jennifer (Tom) Kelly of Dearborn Heights, MI, Michele (Doug Heard) Harget of Jackson, Heather (Chris Moore) Easterday of Jackson and Ryan (Nicole) Barczak of Jackson; seven great-grandchildren; stepmother, Alice Frederick of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Easterday retired from Montgomery Wards after over 15 years of service and she had worked at Sam's Club in Jackson over this past year. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. At her request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the CHAS. J. BURDEN & SON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Mike Lee officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Jackson.
