Services for JOSEPH D.BROSNAN, 81, of 204 Beley Ave., Mattydale, who died Saturday at his home after a short llness, will be at 9 a.m tomorrow at the Leltten Funeral Home, 2305 Brewerton Road, Mattydale, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Born in Cadis, Pa., he lived 25 years in Mattydale. He was
a communicant of St. Margaret's Church and a member of its Holy Name Society and Ushers Club. He was a carpenter for Francis Fuller Co.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Loucks Brosnan; three sons, Gerald of Phoenix, Charles of Clay and Walter Brosnan of Pennellville; five daughters, Mrs. Frank Homer of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. John Polmanteer Jr. of Memphis, Mrs. F. Raymond Adsit of Brewerton, Sister Ann Joseph of St. Ann's Parish in Syracuse and Mrs. Edward D. Maloney; a brother, Edward Brosnan of Binghamton; a sister, Mrs. Mary E. Benson, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary by the Holy Name Society of the church will be at 8:15 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. POST STANDARD Dec. 4, 1967
