Bannack Mining Man Heart Attack Victim
Dillon, May 21--William R. Ashworth, well-known Bannack mining man, died suddenly last night at his home following a heart attack.
He was a native of New Diggings, Wis., where he was born Feb. 13, 1862. He came to Montana when a young man and ever since had made his home in the historic mining camp.
Surviving him are a sister, Mrs. Martha Thompson of Dillon, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Brundage funeral home. The Rev. J. A. Meeke of Grace Methodist Episcopal church will officiate and interment will be made in Bannack cemetery.
