Graveside services will be 2 pm Tuesday at Bells Chapel Cemetery near Rutherford, with Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer in charge of arrangements. Friends may call 5:30-9 this evening at the funeral home in Dyer.
He was born Feb. 22, 1943, in Dyer County, son of the late Damion (Davis) and Ewell Ritter Sr. He was married to Sandra Kay Ritter, who survives, and was a retired employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. He was a Baptist.
Survivors also include two other sons, James Edward Ritter and Keith Ritter, both of Yorkville; two sisters, Faye Suratt of Van Buren, Ark, and Marie Suratt of Kosciusko, Miss; and nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
