She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many church callings including the Primary, as Relief Society President, R.S. pianist, Young Women?s Counselor, Cub Scout Den Mother, Extraction Program, Las Vegas Temple volunteer and dedicated visiting teacher. She shared her gifts and talents as she sang in ward and stake choirs and in duets, and in ladies trios.
Her earlier years were spent in Marysvale and Antimony, Utah. Their family moved to Henderson, Nev. in 1965. She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was employed at McBeths Drug Store and at Skaggs Drugs as a cosmetician for several years. She has resided in St. George, Utah since 2005.
She is survived by her husband of St. George, and four sons, Samuel H. (Laura) Savage, Henderson, NV, Jeffrey A. (Barbara) Savage, Roswell, NM., L. Paul (Carrie) Savage, Henderson, NV, Joseph C. Savage, St. George, UT, and son-in-law, Farhad Fred Sadeghi, Riverside, CA, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, four sisters, Lola Dawn (Brent) Gottfredson, Marysvale, Utah, Susan (Lynn) McClellan, Annabella, Utah, Linda Dean (Dee) Parry, St. George, Utah, and Addie (Sam) Willden, Page, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and precious daughter Teri Sadeghi.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009 in the St. George LDS 19th Ward Chapel located at 550 East 700 South.
Burial will take place in the Antimony Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield
