She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Woodring of York and son Robert F. Henry of Albany, NY, and his wife Julie Samson of Preston Hollow, NY.
In addition to her children she is survived by four grandchildren: J. Andrew Woodring and his wife Karen of Mechanicsburg; Rachel Holtzman and her husband Donald of Port Orchard, Washington; Ann Henry and Leonard P. Henry of Preston Hollow, New York. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren: Cassidy, Dane, and Carly Holtzman all of Port Orchard, Washington; and Alex Woodring of Mechanicsburg.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Lillian "Susie" Beltz, Catherine Hill, Marguerite Reichard and brothers Preston, Palmer, Ted, Oscar, Walter, Cornell, Richard, and Glen Reichard. Her son-in-law John O. Woodring, Jr., also preceded her in death in July of 2007.
Nancy was a homemaker. She held some part-time jobs when her children were older, but was always home when they arrived home from school. She was a loving mother, grandmother (lovingly known as "Gunk") and great-grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home, 849 East Market St., York. Burial will be private in Shaffer's (Zion) Union Cemetery, Hanover Junction, PA.
