A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville, Ore. The officant will be Gabe Bales.
Richard was born March 18, 1944 in Fort Smith, Ark. to Don and Opal (Hight) Caudle. He graduated from Crook County High School. He then fell timber with his Dad for 18 years. Richard will not have casket bearers at his service because he always stated "I just have too many friends to choose from."
Contributions may be made to The Crook County Library 175 NW Meadow Lakes Dr. Prineville, Ore. 97754. Whispering Pines Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
