Dr. Louis Frederick Metz married Helen Darr in 1925 at Abilene, Texas.

Services for Dr. L.F. Metz, 60, senior member of the staff of the Stamford Sanitorium will be held at St. John's Methodist Church with Rev. Newton Starnes officiating.

Members of the Stamford High School football team will serve as pallbearers.

Dr. Metz moved to Stamford in July of 1925. He had been physician for the Stamford High School football team for more than 20 years. Dr. Metz was chairman of the Texas Cowboy Reunion, Secretary - treasure of the Country Club for 15 years. He was director of First National Bank.

Dr. Metz was a veteran of World War I.

Survived by his wife; two daughters - Mrs. W.C. MacDonald and Miss Judy Metz; one sister - Mrs. Jim Beverage; one granddaughter.
