June 30, 1942~August 20, 2009

Connie Darline Blanton, 67, of Vancouver, WA, died peacefully on August 20, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born June 30, 1942 to Maurice Sr. and Dorothy Goff in San Fernando, CA. When Connie was 5, she and her family moved to Anchorage, Alaska where she would spend the majority of the next 59 years of her life. In 2005, Connie and her husband Cecil left Wasilla, Alaska and moved to Vancouver to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Connie will be remembered a for her fierce devotion to her Savior Jesus Christ, husband, children and grandchildren. While we are all saddened at this loss, we know that one day we will all be reunited in heaven.

Connie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Cecil Blanton; daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and Tyler Chavers; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Davida Blanton; grandchildren, Austin and Amber Chavers, Hannah and Matthew Blanton all of Vancouver; father, Maurice Goff, Sr., 91 years of age, of Wasilla, Alaska; sister, Priscilla Goff and brother, Martin Goff of Wasilla, Alaska; brother, Maurice "Butch" Goff, Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska, many sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Goff.

Services for Connie will be held Monday, August 24, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, WA.

Former longtime Wasilla resident Connie Darline Blanton, 67, of Vancouver, Wash., died peacefully Aug. 20, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. A service for Connie was at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver.
