Walter S. BALSLEY, 80 years old, of R.R.3, Bremen, died in his sleep May 17. He had been in failing health for several years. Mr. Balsley was born in Marshall county March 26, 1881, the son of George and Caroline (Fry) Balsley. He was a retired farmer and had lived in this community his entire life. He was married Feb. 14, 1904 to Della Weaver, who preceded him in death. He is survived by one son, Lowell, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Laura Rasler of Mishawaka; two brothers, Harmon and Roy Balsley of Plymouth; and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Yost and Mrs. Welcome Mishler of R.R. 3, Bremen. There are three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Glant Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
