Frances Cornwell Vermillion, 93, of Toms Brook died Nov. 27, 1998, at Royal Haven Rest Home in Front Royal.
Mrs. Vermillion was born in Virginia on Jan. 29, 1905, the daughter of the late Daniel Silas Cornwell and Ida Cornwell. She was a longtime employee at the Pitts Theatre in Warrenton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Vermillion, a son, Paul E. Locke; two brothers, John Cornwell and Hugh Jones, and a sister, Phyllis C. Hawkins.
She is survived by a brother, S. Preston Cornwell of Winchester, and a sister, Rose Esteppe of Toms Brook.
The Rev. J. Richard Winter led a graveside service Nov. 30 at Warrenton Cemetery.
